We work on all manner of bikes.
Kid’s bikes, grown-up’s bikes, old bikes, new bikes, even make old bikes look new.
We work on higher end road bikes and MTBs .
We don’t work on hyper-performance exotics. If your bike has ceramic or wireless anything, we’re likely not the bicycle workshop for you.
How much it costs
We charge a flat fee based on the service rate card below. If we find that your bike will need more attention or spares we will check your preference on working with what we got, or getting more stuck in to sort it out properly.
Condition of your bicycle
Most reg’lar bikes owned by reg’lar people are in poor condition.
Ranging from pretty dirty to fully crusty with hardened grease deposits; slack or over-tightened bearings; no maintenance in a long time, and some components not working.
To get it into a fit state to work on, it can require 2-3 hours of disassembling and cleaning. If your bike is clean and in good condition, super.
We will make the bike safe to ride … but also fun to ride. Kid’s bikes are incredibly heavy compared to the weight of a child, so stiff bearings and rubbing brakes make them super hard to ride!
A more comprehensive service where we clean, lubricate and adjust to have the bike working well.
A comprehensive service for mountain bikes and similar setups. Does not include a fork/suspension strip down and service, but we will check settings, proper functioning.
A comprehensive service for road bikes and similar set-ups such as gravel bikes and commuter bikes.
